Beginners FAQ

99% of the people who join our gym are complete beginners. We understand that joining a CrossFit gym can be quite  a daunting prospect, so we promise to take good care of you. Here are some commonly asked Q & A.

Will I be able?

Yes! Your first few sessions will be about learning the movements, finding your feet and working out at an intensity that you can deal with.

I haven’t lifted weights before, is that a problem?

There are no pre-requisite strength levels in our classes. We will teach you everything you need to know and you will progress from there. Strength-building is a long process that we take our time with.

I’m in my fifties, am I too old?

No! We have members starting training in their 60’s. Honestly, the older we get, the more we need CrossFit.

Seriously, I am totally unfit. Like, zero fitness. Is it going to be too hard for me?

We all have to start somewhere. We do train hard, but thats relative to our abilities. If you show up and give it your all, thats all that counts
